Cute Cuddly Fun companions. purebred & designer breed canines

About us....we are  experienced dog people in northeast Indiana who put all effort into raising the best companion dogs that we can provide for your family. Believe me, raising puppies is fun, but it is work to do it right.  And right is how we want to do by our pups, it's a serious job and labor of love. So we breed good stock, watch the dams  thru their pregnancys, feed good quality food, give love and proper vet care and then we wait and watch. We assist the deliverys as they need us and we tend to all the stuff that needs to be done every day. We stay up night and at times sleep beside our charges. We set the alarm to check on them in the middle of the night. We give shots, wormings,  baths, trim nails, clean teeth, social playtime, give lots of loving  attention.  We work closely with our vets, continue education and seminars every

I'm Deb, the contact person for us. Mainly I work with 1 other breeder ( a small toy breed breeder)  besides Peaceful Hollow Pets, who is my main focus. I take the puppy pictures, list our pups and tend to emails from you; our clients & work with you to arrange all the details.   I was raised and enjoyed being present on my grandparents farm from very young,  and been around all sorts of  animals, especially dogs my entire life. Bottle fed my first litter of beagle pups at age 8 and have been a hands on full fledged dog lover ever since.

Altho I personally am not,  my fellow breeders are USDA Licensed and inspected during the year by both USDA and AKC and our kennel management program. We all belong to NIPBA (Northern Indiana Pet breeders Association) and ICAW (Indiana Council for Animal Welfare) and do our utmost to maintain good healthy breeding practices and facilities.

If you do not see just what you want, feel free to inquire about something special. Altho, as I always say, "Having a litter of puppies is not like baking a batch of cookies, you don't just get up one day and decide today's' the day. There are a good 15 weeks between a hopefully successful mating and a healthy viable  puppy ready to go to it's new home.  And ya can't change their age, the color,  or the plumbing.  " but there are alot of other variables and so feel free to ask.

Our pups come with  age appropriate vaccinations and preventive de-wormings, they have a vet checked health exam, and generally at 8 weeks are ready to go. Altho for the smaller breeds it can be an additional 3-4 weeks. We go according to what the puppy needs.  Shipping in the United States to the airport nearest you that accepts live animal shipments is available and generally runs $350-$400 depending on the size of the puppy and crate needed. We will and have shipped to foreign countries   but obviously the charges for that will vary. I rely on the services of Becky, an experienced dog accompanist to work her magic when out of the country is needed or just a client who prefers a little more of special handling for their new pooch.

“Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made. ” -Roger A. Caras

Don't ya just love kids and dogs?

A Pets Ten Commandments

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me. Especially when I am a puppy and still learning how to be a good pet for you and with your help.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps      I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.
10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.
